Norse Fund

Westby Norse Fund Inc. supports Westby Area High School graduates as they pursue education after high school. Its mission is to help graduates reach their post-secondary education goals through financial assistance, providing an initial boost toward college and other educational paths. The fund has awarded more than 1,300 scholarships, totaling over $1.9 million.

Its scholarship program includes awards such as the Todd Ihrcke Memorial Scholarship and the Title IX (Ann Kurth Memorial) Scholarship, along with scholarships established by donors to honor loved ones or support particular interests. For example, an endowed memorial scholarship provides an award to a Westby graduate pursuing music in a college setting.

Individuals and families can contribute to the fund, establish a scholarship, or designate a gift in someone’s memory or honor. Donations can be mailed by check to the Westby Norse Fund in Westby, Wisconsin. Through these options, the organization connects community giving with financial support for local graduates and their continued education.
