Norske-postlister.no

Norske-postlister.no is a privately run service that brings together public correspondence registers from across Norway in one searchable place. Its aim is to make municipal and state-authority post lists more accessible, including for citizens and people engaged in civic journalism. The service is created and operated by Hallvard Nygård and is not affiliated with the municipalities or government authorities whose registers it collects.

Users can search records using Lucene query syntax and explore entries through filters and links for dates, case numbers, senders and recipients, titles, and other details. The site also offers email notifications when new journal entries match a chosen case, search term, or an authority’s entire post list. For some registers, it provides access to an expanded history.

Norske-postlister.no includes examples, information about the service, and guidance on accessing documents and cases. It also maintains a presence on Twitter as @NorPostlister. Personal names are screened from the service, so searches for individuals may not return useful results; company names are not screened.
