About North American Brewers
The North American Brewers Association (NABA) is a dedicated non-profit foundation established in 1996, focused on promoting the culture and quality of beer through education and community engagement. With more than 40 members, NABA plays a pivotal role in the craft beer industry, hosting prestigious events such as the annual International Beer Awards and Mountain Brewers' Beer Fest. These events not only celebrate brewing excellence but also direct proceeds towards charitable initiatives.
NABA’s commitment to quality is exemplified through its rigorous beer evaluation and judging courses, conducted by seasoned judges, including brewers and beer journalists. Each year, participants compete for Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, recognizing outstanding craft beers. Additionally, the association supports brewing education through annual scholarships totaling $9,000 for various educational programs. NABA is dedicated to ensuring that beer remains an integral part of North American culture while also contributing positively to local communities.
