Northern Sporting Club

Northern Sporting Club is a professional boxing organisation in the North, founded and run by brothers David and Matty McAllister. More than a boxing stable, the club promotes, manages, coaches and develops local talent, helping fighters progress in the sport. Its approach combines demanding training with personal support, placing boxers’ needs at the centre of the club’s work.

The McAllisters bring more than 20 years of collective experience in boxing, coaching and management. David, a former amateur boxer with over 50 bouts, became Scotland’s youngest National team coach at 22. Matty won multiple Scottish titles, represented Scotland internationally and completed an undefeated run of ten professional fights before injuries ended his career. Together, they draw on their experience to help emerging fighters develop their skills and pursue professional opportunities.

Northern Sporting Club also organises fight nights and presents a roster of boxers, including David Winiarski, Artur Selivanovs, Ben Bartlett, Paul Deas, Darren Traynor, Kristen Fraser, Andrew Smart, Callum Stuart, Marek Laskowski and Billy Stuart.
