North Gibson Education Foundation

The North Gibson Education Foundation (NGEF) supports students and classrooms across the North Gibson School Corporation by securing and distributing private funding to complement public education resources. Its mission is to improve educational opportunities for all North Gibson students by helping bridge the gap between state funding and the resources teachers need. Through community partnerships and donations, the foundation provides practical support designed to enrich learning and empower educators.

NGEF’s programs include Innovation Grants, which help teachers obtain tools for engaging learning experiences that meet students’ needs, and Foundation Fun Days, which offer additional support and encouragement to educators. The foundation is also planning the Tiger Trove Classroom Supplies Hub, scheduled to open during the 2025–2026 school year. Its work has invested more than $200,000, benefited over 2,000 students, and directly resourced 140 classrooms. Businesses, community members, and volunteers can take part through sponsorships, partnerships, volunteering, and donations. The foundation also shares updates through its news and newsletter, keeping supporters informed about grants, projects, and school initiatives.
