About North Point Grants
North Point Grants is a grant consulting practice based in Hudson, Wisconsin, serving mission-driven nonprofits across western Wisconsin and the Twin Cities metro. Founded by Kim Kluge, the practice helps organizations secure funding through a thoughtful, relationship-focused approach that puts strategy before applications. Its services cover the full funding lifecycle, including funding strategy, prospect research, grant writing, funder outreach, reporting, and stewardship. North Point Grants also supports campaigns and major fundraising initiatives with messaging guides, case statements, sponsorship materials, and donor communications.
Engagements begin with planning to clarify an organization’s goals, capacity, timeline, and story. Clients then receive a prioritized funding roadmap, with researched prospects, recommended ask levels, and suggested sequencing. Support can be arranged as a standalone strategy project or an ongoing partnership. North Point Grants works with organizations in areas such as youth recreation, animal welfare, human services, and community development, including small teams without dedicated grant writers. Kluge brings certified grant-writing and funding-strategy training, a University of Wisconsin–Madison education, and extensive communications experience to her work.
