North Pole Security builds proactive endpoint protection designed specifically for macOS. Its platform pairs Santa, an open-source security agent created at Google and now maintained by the company, with Workshop, an enterprise control plane for managing Santa across a fleet of Macs. Santa enforces security policies on individual devices, while Workshop gives security teams a centralized place to configure rules, oversee approvals, and review activity.

The products help organizations control which software can run, restrict applications’ access to sensitive files, and block removable media to reduce data-exfiltration risks. Workshop adds scalable approval workflows, including self-service requests, designated approvers, and peer voting, as well as automated risk checks, package allowlisting, network rules, and time-limited privilege elevation. AI-powered chat supports event queries, rule management, and investigations in plain English. Rich telemetry and audit trails help teams understand security decisions and endpoint activity.
