Northshore Apparel Limited presents the Northern Apparel Manufacturing Expansion Development (NAMED), a private initiative supported by the Northern Development Authority (NDA). NAMED aims to establish and develop an apparel value chain in the northern ecological zone of Ghana. With a vision to drive economic and social transformation in the region, NAMED utilizes high-quality resources and world-class systems to promote investment in the apparel industry.

The goal is to support the activities of the NDA, contributing to the economic, human, and social development needs of the area. The manufacturing plant focuses on high-volume, long-shelf-life items made from synthetic fibers, cotton, or cotton blends, including promotional, sports/lifestyle, and uniforms/workwear. The initiative also envisions future development in cotton sourcing, yarn spinning, and raw materials procurement, creating a continental supply chain platform and exploring opportunities in West Africa's cotton industry.
