North Shore Racks is a rider-owned and operated company creating hitch-mounted bike racks for mountain bikers. Founded in 2004, the brand introduced what it describes as the industry’s first vertical bike rack and continues to refine its design for evolving mountain bikes, including e-bikes. Its patented cradle system is designed for fast, straightforward loading while avoiding stress on fork internals, and the racks are built for demanding adventures as well as everyday family use.
The company manufactures its products locally in North Vancouver using North American-sourced materials, with an emphasis on durable construction and avoiding inexpensive plastic components. Its lineup includes vertical bike racks, such as the latest-generation NSR4 Gradus, along with storage solutions, security products, replacement parts, rack add-ons, and apparel. North Shore Racks also provides practical support for customers through bike-fitment guidance, care and warranty information, shipping, local pickup, returns, and FAQs. Videos and its “Rig of the Month” feature offer product information and inspiration for riders preparing for trips and trail adventures.
