Northumbria Community is a diverse and dispersed network of people, united by a Rule of Life that guides them in following the Way. As William Stringfellow once wrote, the community is dynamic, spontaneous, and radical, committed to enacting a hopeful vision for human life in society. While not easily defined or pinned down, Northumbria Community is ecumenically open, often experimental, and spiritually monastic in nature.
