Northway Gardens

Northway Gardens & Landscaping is a Muskoka-based landscape design and construction company with more than 30 years of experience serving the region. Formerly known as Northway Gardeners, the company combines long-standing local knowledge with a forward-looking approach to creating gardens and landscapes that complement Muskoka’s natural beauty.

Its services include site planning, functional and artistic landscape design, construction, garden design and planting, property maintenance, and garden renovations. The team also provides forest management and selective pruning, shoreline restoration, and reforestation. Planting work includes annuals, perennials, and indigenous species, while landscape features can include distinctive stone walls, walkways, and patios.

Northway emphasizes working with the existing conditions of each property, including its soil, exposure, terrain, and established vegetation. Its designs seek to preserve and enhance natural landscapes rather than replace them. For shoreline projects, the company can remove lawn extending to the water’s edge and restore the area with native plants. It also helps clients reforest parts of their properties to create a more natural, ecologically healthy environment.
