Northwind Art

Northwind Art is a Canadian art retailer specializing in authentic Inuit and First Nations artwork. With more than 30 years of experience, the business has built a collection through travel across Canada and time spent in the Arctic, obtaining many works directly from artists. Its online gallery brings together art by Indigenous creators, reflecting the histories, traditions, nature, legends and spirituality that inspire many Canadian Indigenous works.

Customers can browse and purchase limited-edition prints, original paintings and drawings, mixed-media works on paper, and stone sculptures. The featured collection also includes clay pots and sculptural pieces depicting figures, animals and other subjects. Northwind Art offers a range of works at different prices and says it can help customers find a piece suited to their collection. The site presents Inuit and Native art for sale through a product catalogue, with individual works attributed to named artists. Northwind Art connects collectors with distinctive Canadian art while highlighting the creativity and continuing significance of Indigenous artists.
