Northwoods NETS

Northwoods NETS is a Minnesota-based support organization for people affected by neuroendocrine tumors and cancers, including carcinoid cancer, pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, and MEN-1. Serving the Twin Cities community, the group brings together survivors, caregivers, families, and others seeking reliable information and connection. Its mission is to support a high quality of life for people living with neuroendocrine cancer and those who care for them.

Northwoods NETS offers monthly support meetings in person and on Zoom, creating opportunities to share experiences and connect with others who understand the challenges of diagnosis and treatment. The organization also provides resources for people newly diagnosed, information on treatment and disease monitoring, and guidance on topics such as symptoms, dietary considerations, surgery protocols, financial support, and medication costs. Members can explore patient stories, educational videos, newsletters, specialist recommendations, and links to national organizations. Speaker events and volunteer opportunities further support community engagement. Through these educational resources and peer-support services, Northwoods NETS helps patients and caregivers navigate neuroendocrine cancer with greater information and a sense of connection.
