Norwalk Tang Soo Do is a martial arts program in Norwalk, Connecticut, offering Tang Soo Do instruction for children, teens, and adults. Led by Doug Peoples, a 9th Dan Black Belt, and other instructors, the program helps students learn self-defense techniques and fighting skills while developing confidence, focus, coordination, and self-discipline through physical activity.
Classes take place at the Norwalk Senior Center, a Norwalk Recreation and Parks facility, at 11 Allen Road. Children ages 6–12 attend beginner classes on Mondays and intermediate or advanced classes on Wednesdays. Teens and adults ages 13 and up train on Wednesday evenings, with students grouped by skill level as needed. The program charges $200 for a 15-week session, payable by cash or check at the first class. New students can wear comfortable workout clothes and do not need to buy a uniform in advance.
