Norwood Nordic Association

Norwood Nordic Association (NNA) is a volunteer-run, member-supported organization dedicated to expanding Nordic skiing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities in Norwood, Colorado. Launched in 2016, the association maintains and grooms skate and classic cross-country ski trails at Busted Arm Draw, a winter recreation area known locally as B.A.D. Trail information, maps, trailhead details, and etiquette guidance help visitors plan their outings. NNA also shares grooming and snow-condition reports so skiers can make informed decisions about when and where to go.

Beyond trail maintenance, the association organizes community events, including full moon skiing, and invites local residents and visitors to become members or join its mailing list. Its work is supported by sponsors and community partners, including public agencies, local businesses, and charitable organizations. These partners help provide resources such as grooming equipment, permits, facilities, and financial support. Based in Norwood, NNA helps make accessible Nordic skiing experiences possible while fostering local participation in winter recreation.
