About Nosam Kennels
Nosam Kennels is a German Shorthaired Pointer and Vizsla breeder based in Greensburg, Kentucky, serving families across the United States. The kennel produces a limited number of carefully planned litters for hunting, performance sports, show, and active companion homes. Its breeding program emphasizes health, temperament, structure, natural ability, and trainability, selecting health-tested dogs evaluated in venues such as AKC Hunt Tests, NAVHDA, conformation, and performance sports. Nosam Kennels is an AKC Breeder of Merit for both breeds, belongs to the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America, and has produced a NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeder Award litter.
Dogs and puppies are raised on a 50-acre property with space to run, train, swim, and explore. Puppy development includes Puppy Culture, Early Neurological Stimulation, early handling and grooming, crate foundations, and age-appropriate training. At around eight weeks, puppies are evaluated and matched to homes according to their temperaments and each family’s lifestyle and goals. Nosam also provides ongoing breeder support, training resources, and guidance to puppy families.
