Νοσηλεία (Nosilia) is a certified nonprofit organization that has been operating in the wider Athens area since 2001. Our vision is to meet the primary healthcare needs, provide home nursing care, and offer relief services to all patients in need, while supporting their family members as well. With our Quality Management System certified according to ISO 9001:2015 by the LE🔘C Company, we aim to alleviate human suffering. We specialize in providing free medical, psychosocial, and physical therapy care to patients with chronic diseases such as cancer, stroke, dementia, as well as the elderly facing mobility and socio-economic challenges. Additionally, we educate and support the families of our patients.
Our work has been recognized and awarded as the "Island of Quality 2019" by the former President of the Republic in the national competition of the "Citizens' Movement for an Open Society." We have also received a rating of 4 out of 5 stars, the highest possible, in the recent evaluation for the program "THALIS II: Mapping & Evaluation of Greek NGOs," along with numerous other honorary awards and distinctions.
