The Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment of the Government of India, is dedicated to fostering equality and enhancing the opportunities available to marginalized communities. One of its key initiatives is the National Overseas Scholarship, which targets low-income individuals from groups such as Scheduled Castes, Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, Landless Agricultural Labourers, and Traditional Artisans. This scholarship aims to empower these students by providing financial support for pursuing higher education, including Master's and Ph.

D. programs abroad. By facilitating access to international educational opportunities, the scholarship not only enables personal and academic growth but also promotes social and economic upliftment within these communities.

The Department actively maintains an informative platform where users can find details on how to apply, download necessary forms, and stay updated with notices and results, ensuring that the application process is accessible and streamlined
