The Austrian Notariat brings together a network of institutions that support the country’s notaries, their staff and the profession’s wider public-service role. Its facilities cover professional education, secure trust-money administration, digital records, information services, research and mediation. The Notariatsakademie provides training for notarial candidates, notaries and office employees, including seminars and programs designed to build legal, organizational and interpersonal skills.

The Notartreuhandbank is a specialist, electronically equipped bank focused on administering trust funds, while cyberDOC serves as the profession’s electronic deed archive. NTB Solutions GmbH supplies IT services to Austrian notaries, and ÖGIZIN GmbH undertakes functions including register management and internal and external communication. Other bodies represent notarial candidates, develop expertise through specialist committees, advance mediation within the profession and contribute research into new products, services and the role of notaries.

Together, these organizations provide the professional infrastructure behind Austrian notarial practice, combining education, technology, financial administration and ongoing development. The Notariatsakademie also cooperates with universities and other institutions on selected postgraduate programs
