Its approach is simple: open a note, start typing, and let the service organize it. Notes are arranged by tags and date rather than requiring users to build a folder structure, and instant search helps locate a word or phrase, even among thousands of notes. The service is intended to keep notes up to date across devices, with changes syncing automatically.

Users will also be able to write offline and sync their notes when they reconnect, or export them as plain text or Markdown. notiq’s interface is planned around a straightforward layout, with a note list beside the selected note. The service is being developed for the web and as mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Notes are described as encrypted during transfer and stored so that only the user can access them. notiq is not yet available; pricing will be announced closer to launch, with basic features planned to remain free
