Notnow Collective is a migrant and artist-led theatre company based in Birmingham and the West Midlands, creating work shaped by curiosity, connection and playfulness. Co-founded by UK-based Croatian artists Tina Hofman and Kristina Gavran, the collective grew from a desire to make caring roles visible and explore multilingual voices and the experiences of migrant artists in the UK. Its productions combine emotional and playful storytelling, inviting audiences to reconsider how and where they experience art.
The company creates and supports performances designed to excite, immerse and quietly provoke. Its work includes touring and site-specific projects. Pepper & Honey follows Ana, a young Croatian woman settling in the UK, as she asks what “home” means. BOSA explores belonging, community, migration and the rituals of settling in. Earlier work includes DadMan: The Bathtime Warrior, which addresses birth plans and the experience of being a parent. Notnow Collective also shares news about its projects, invites audiences to attend its shows, and offers ways to support its work through donations and a newsletter.
