Nourished Roots

Nourished Roots is a women’s health and childbirth education practice founded by Aileen, a women’s pelvic health physical therapist and certified pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist. It supports women from pre-pregnancy through postpartum and beyond, offering a welcoming space to learn about pelvic health, prepare for birth, and explore ways to address related concerns.

Services include one-on-one consultations, quick email consultations, and Lamaze childbirth education classes. Consultations can cover topics such as pregnancy discomfort, postpartum recovery and return to exercise, pelvic pain, prolapse, incontinence, and menopause-related concerns. Email consultations provide educational guidance and exercise ideas, with a response within 48 hours. A free meet-and-greet chat is available for those who would like to connect before booking a full consultation.

Lamaze classes introduce the Six Healthy Birth Practices, encourage confidence in the birth process, and help participants prepare for unexpected scenarios. Nourished Roots also offers free and paid downloadable resources on pelvic health, childbirth, and related topics.
