Nourished Kids

Nourished Kids is a paediatric dietetics practice led by Sami Vardy, supporting infants and children across the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads and Northern Rivers in New South Wales. With over 10 years of experience, Sami works with families to address children’s nutrition needs and make mealtimes calmer, more manageable and positive. Support is tailored to each child’s age, health and feeding challenges, including prematurity, slow growth, gastrointestinal concerns, feeding disorders, food refusal, fussy or anxious eating, delayed texture progression, allergies and intolerances, nutrient deficiencies, and nutrition for children with ASD or ADHD.

Services also cover breastfeeding and bottle feeding, introducing solids, vegetarian and vegan diets for babies and children, and nutrition for breastfeeding mothers. For children who rely on tube feeding, Nourished Kids can help families develop practical routines and individualised blended meals. Tube-weaning guidance is available in collaboration with an experienced speech pathologist, when appropriate and safe.
