Nourish Trust

Nourish Trust is a registered charity supporting families facing hardship across the greater Wellington region. Founded in 2014, the organisation began with a community effort to provide 21 families in the Hutt Valley with Christmas hampers of nourishing food. Since then, this initiative has grown to help thousands of local families each year, bringing practical support and a little festive sparkle during a challenging time.

Nourish Trust provides food hampers designed to help families put food on the table at Christmas. Its work is grounded in the belief that children and their whānau should have the food and care they need to live, grow and be healthy. The charity relies on community support to reach more households, and invites individuals and businesses to contribute through one-time donations, volunteering and sponsorship. Donations may be eligible for a tax rebate. Nourish Trust also shares updates, stories and opportunities to support families through its email community and social media.
