About NOVAFRICA
NOVAFRICA, a knowledge center founded in 2011 by the Nova School of Business and Economics at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, focuses on fostering business and economic development in Africa. Committed to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, NOVAFRICA particularly targets Portuguese-speaking African countries such as Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, and Sao Tome and Principe. Through partnerships with public authorities, private companies, and local organizations in sub-Saharan Africa, NOVAFRICA conducts pioneering social experimentation to evaluate the impact of poverty reduction policies, employment promotion, and equal opportunities initiatives.
