NOVA Wild is a beloved local zoo in Reston that has recently undergone a grand reopening in 2023. With a new vision for the zoo, NOVA Wild is committed to providing a healthy environment for its animals, as well as a fun and educational experience for families and children of all ages. Education, conservation, and animal welfare are at the forefront of the brand's mission.

The zoo believes that zoos play a crucial role in educating the public, promoting conservation, and fostering respect for the planet's diverse wildlife. By offering a refuge for various species, including those that have existed for millions of years, NOVA Wild contributes to preserving biodiversity in an increasingly encroached-upon world. NOVA Wild was revitalized by a former Reston resident, Tara Campbell Lussier, who has enlisted a team of zoo industry thought-leaders that prioritize ethics, education, and animal welfare.

Together, they have made significant physical upgrades to the zoo and have a long list of improvements planned for the future. When you visit NOVA Wild, you can expect to encounter a non-profit organization dedicated to animal welfare, providing interactive educational opportunities, and supporting international conservation efforts. Come and experience nature up close and personal at NOVA Wild!
