Novvel.co

Novvel is a story-to-graphic-novel service that helps writers and storytellers turn manuscripts or ideas into illustrated books. Users can paste a story or upload a TXT, MD, or PDF file, then preview it in a range of visual styles before choosing how it should look. Novvel says it supports any genre and length, with more than 50 styles, including noir, manga, watercolour, black-and-white ink, ligne claire, and risograph. Its process adapts the story into panels, with a first draft typically available in hours, and customers can review previews before approving pages.

The service is designed for novelists, screenwriters, worldbuilders, and people creating keepsake books from family memories or children’s stories. A gallery showcases adaptations of works across genres and styles. Novvel states that customer manuscripts are not used to train AI and that no pages are drawn before approval. Users can download and keep purchased work; full commercial rights are available for publishing and selling, with no royalties, licensing fees, subscription lock-in, or platform lock-in.
