About 國家兩廳院NTCH,Taipei
The National Performing Arts Center (NPAC) is a prominent brand in Taiwan's performing arts scene. Established in April 2014, NPAC represents a new era in Taiwan's performing arts as a unified entity overseeing three national-level cultural venues: the National Theater & Concert Hall in Taipei, the National Taichung Theater in Taichung, and the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying) in Kaohsiung. NPAC also includes the acclaimed National Symphony Orchestra (NSO).
Together, NPAC and its venues are dedicated to the management, operation, planning, promotion, and marketing of performing arts activities, as well as cultural exchanges to enhance Taiwan's performing arts standards and international competitiveness. With the inauguration of the National Taichung Theater in 2016 and the Weiwuying in 2018, NPAC strives to lead Taiwan's performing arts into a new phase of development. The center's vision is to integrate resources, talent, and partnerships to cultivate a vibrant arts ecosystem, while its goals include strengthening platform effects, investing in developing groups, nurturing professional talents, strengthening local connections, expanding international networks, and providing better access to cultural arts.
With its commitment to excellence and innovation, NPAC is the driving force behind the development of Taiwan's performing arts
