At NPHarvest, we believe wastewater isn't the problem—wasting it is. We're transforming nutrient-rich wastewater into valuable resources, helping biogas plants, farmers, municipalities, and industrial plants do more with what's already flowing. Our patent pending technology captures up to 90% of nitrogen and phosphorus from concentrated liquid waste. We recover these essential nutrients as pure ammonia salt and amorphous calcium phosphate—key components for fertilizer production. The result? Lower costs and reduced environmental impact for wastewater treatment. Local nutrient sources for farmers. Less nutrient imports and increased food-security for independent nations. The secret? Our solution combines low operational costs, industrial reliability and a high-quality end-product like no other. Born from research at Aalto University, NPHarvest combines serious science with circular economy thinking. About NPHarvest
Aalto University is the driving force behind NPHarvest, a collaborative project that focuses on nutrient recovery and its technologies. The project aims to explore and research different methods of extracting nutrients from a variety of liquid waste, including reject water, urine, leachate, and septic waste. With a commitment to privacy, Aalto University and its partners are dedicated to finding sustainable solutions for nutrient recovery.
