NPO法人 cambio is a nonprofit organization based in Hyogo Prefecture, primarily serving Taka and Nishiwaki. Its work combines community problem-solving with employment and independence support for people with disabilities. The name “cambio” means “change” in Italian, reflecting the organization’s aim to create practical opportunities and help people build confidence and hope through work.

Cambio operates Type A and Type B continuous employment support facilities. Staff work alongside participants to find ways to make tasks achievable, adapting processes or developing dedicated equipment when needed, while taking individual preferences and pace into account. The organization also helps sustain local businesses facing succession challenges, taking over necessary operations and, where appropriate, using them as supported-work settings. Activities include operating the Nishiwaki Technical High School cafeteria, metalworking, aluminum foil and pipe washer production, packaging, and making TASIKA deer-meat pet food.

Cambio also runs Manabi no Ya, an after-school day service for school-aged children, offering learning support, developmental and daily-living assistance, social participation, and employment guidance suited to individual abilities.
