Открытое акционерное общество Научно-производственное объединение «Родина» было основано в 1936 году. Тогда Организация носила название ОКБ-28 Главного Управления авиационной промышленности Наркомата тяжелой промышленности СССР. С первых дней своего создания ОКБ активно включилось в работу по проектированию новых воздушных винтов изменяемого шага. Воздушными винтами, спроектированными в ОКБ, были оснащены все отечественные боевые самолеты, принимавшие участие в Великой Отечественной войне.

About НПО «Родина»
НПО «Родина» is an Open Joint Stock Company that was founded in 1936. Originally known as OKB-28, it was a part of the Main Aviation Industry Department of the USSR's Ministry of Heavy Industry. From its inception, OKB actively participated in the design of new variable pitch propellers.
These propellers were installed on all domestic combat aircraft that took part in the Great Patriotic War. In the post-war years, as aviation and rocketry advanced, OKB became one of the leading design bureaus in the country, specializing in the development of hydraulic control systems for aircraft. Its innovative use of hydraulic and electro-hydraulic principles, combined with advancements in electronic technology, enabled the design of modern comprehensive remote and automatic control systems for various types of aircraft.
Today, NPO Rodina is involved in the assembly of new civil and military aviation projects. Its products include electro-hydraulic control systems, electro-hydraulic actuators, hydro-mechanical emergency systems, hydraulic and electro-hydraulic units, and other aviation components.
