About Northwest Adventists
Northwest Adventists is the regional headquarters for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the northwestern United States, including Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. With more than 102,000 members, 545 churches/companies/groups, 100 elementary and secondary schools, and one university, Northwest Adventists play a vital role in promoting the biblical message of hope and wholeness for the present and future. As faithful citizens, Northwest Adventists believe in the importance of observing the weekly seventh day Sabbath day of rest and worship, as well as the promise of Christ's second coming or Advent.
The organization operates within the framework of the larger Seventh-day Adventist Church, which is structured into various levels to efficiently administer its 17 million members worldwide. The North Pacific Union Conference, a part of the North American Division, oversees six local conferences and supports local churches in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. Through its ministries, Northwest Adventists aim to serve their communities and uphold their commitment to the biblical teachings
