Nyangani Renewable Energy (Pvt) Ltd is a leading energy company based in Harare. Specializing in renewable energy solutions, the company designs, builds, and operates run of river hydroelectric power schemes and solar PV power schemes. Their mission is to deliver electricity to the national grids of Zimbabwe and Malawi.

The hydroelectric schemes are strategically positioned along the rivers flowing from the Nyangani Massif in eastern Zimbabwe and Mount Mulanje in Malawi. Additionally, they have established a solar power scheme in Mutoko, Zimbabwe. With expertise in design, construction, operation, and maintenance, NRE offers a wide range of services including weir construction, power station installation, civil works, and medium voltage transmission lines. Their notable projects include the Pungwe B hydroelectric scheme, with a rated output of 15MW, and the Riverside Solar Power Station, occupying a 40-hectare site in Mutoko. Additionally, NRE has recently completed the Nyanga substation upgrade, enhancing its capacity and managing power from the Honde and Nyanga power plants.
