NSBS is a New Zealand financial mentoring organisation that has supported Kiwis for more than 30 years. Its professionally trained, FinCap-accredited mentors provide confidential, personalised guidance to individuals, families and whānau seeking greater control of their finances. Through its Building Financial Capability programme, NSBS helps clients set budgets and financial goals, manage day-to-day money matters, reduce debt and stress, improve cash flow, and build savings and long-term financial resilience. Support is available face-to-face, by video, phone or email, through Citizens Advice Bureaus and workplace wellness programmes.

NSBS also offers specialised mentoring for seniors and retirees, women, young people, Māori and Pasifika communities, and people facing challenging circumstances. Its partnerships extend financial support through organisations including Grace Foundation and Te Puna Hauora. In collaboration with Auckland Council Libraries and ASB Bank, it is also rolling out free financial literacy workshops for seniors. By combining individual mentoring, advocacy, education and community partnerships, NSBS works to strengthen financial capability and wellbeing across Aotearoa.
