About Association New Security Initiative
Association New Security Initiative (UNSI) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization based in Sarajevo. They specialize in conducting high-quality scientific, expert, political, economic, social, security, sociological, and criminological research and projects. With a mission to advocate for positive changes and improve the state of society in Bosnia and Herzegovina, UNSI encourages civic activism and citizen involvement in decision-making processes.
They establish professional relationships with government institutions, collaborate closely with the academic community and media, and provide realistic, efficient, and fact-based proposals to enhance public policies. UNSI, founded in 2012 by the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina, aims to promote respect for human rights, support peace processes and Euro-Atlantic integration, ensure transparent governance, combat corruption, and promote gender equality, sustainable development, and bilateral and multilateral collaborations in the Western Balkans
