Norths Juniors is the representative and player development program for young rugby players from four village clubs in Sydney’s Northern Suburbs: Drummoyne Dirty Reds, Hunters Hill Rugby Club, Mosman Rugby Club and Norths Pirates Rugby Club. Players remain connected to their local clubs while coming together to develop, compete at district level and represent the Norths community.
The program offers representative XV rugby for U12–U18 teams and Sevens opportunities for U11, U13, U15 and U17 players. Its girls’ pathways include mixed U11 rugby and girls’ teams at U13, U15 and U17. Norths Juniors also describes a broader pathway from village clubs through representative rugby and, for players who wish to continue, into Colts and Norths Senior Rugby.
Through coaching, competition and shared experiences, the program aims to help players build their skills, confidence, discipline, leadership and friendships across the district. Wearing the red and black Norths jersey represents both an achievement and a responsibility to teammates, families, clubs and the generations who came before.
