Nurses Serving Our Neighbors is a Charlotte-area ministry and independent nonprofit organization inspired by Faith Community Nursing, a specialty practice of the American Nurses Association. Its mission is to help neighbors take charge of their wellbeing by strengthening social support and promoting compassionate, whole-person health in body, mind, and spirit. The organization brings together licensed nurses and other volunteers who walk alongside people in need of support.

Its services center on four areas: advocacy, navigation, education, and accompaniment. Volunteers connect neighbors with healthcare providers and relevant resources, help them navigate healthcare access, coordination, and scheduling, and provide education about whole-person health, disease prevention and management, medications, and available resources. Through compassionate presence and practical assistance, the ministry aims to ensure that no one has to journey alone.

Its work is grounded in a faith-based commitment to sharing love and hope while supporting neighbors’ health and wellbeing. Individuals seeking help for themselves or a loved one can request assistance, and community members can get involved, donate, or submit a prayer request
