NSTV

The Nederlandse Schaats Trainers Vereniging (NSTV) is a Dutch association dedicated to skating trainers, with a focus on professional development and sharing knowledge. Its guiding idea is that the organisation is for trainers and shaped by trainers. Members can access a dedicated online site featuring a knowledge bank and registration for continuing-education activities. The NSTV also provides information about membership and its board, regional rink coordinators, and promotional materials.

The association organises and promotes training sessions, workshops, webinars, and conferences connected with skating and inline skating. Topics listed include learning from coaching in other sports, preventing overheating among athletes, first aid for sports injuries, and practical training ideas. Its activities calendar includes NSTV and KNSB development opportunities, alongside the skating and inline-skating trainers’ congress. The website shares news, newsletters, vacancies, and event updates, and invites prospective members to join through an online registration form. Through these resources and activities, the NSTV supports trainers in developing their knowledge and practice.
