About NSW Medical Students’ Council
The New South Wales Medical Students' Council (NSWMSC) is the premier representative body for more than 6,000 medical students across ten prestigious medical schools in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. As the peak organization for medical students, NSWMSC serves as their voice and advocate, ensuring that their interests and needs are represented and addressed. NSWMSC offers a range of services and resources to its members, including internship information, a directory for intern swaps, and a platform for students to connect and network with each other.
The council also organizes various events, such as SydCon 2023, to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among medical students. Committed to inclusivity and cultural respect, NSWMSC acknowledges and respects the traditional custodians of the land and aims to create a supportive and inclusive environment for Indigenous students and practitioners.
