About N T C A
NTCA Nigeria is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting qualitative health and sustainable human development in Nigeria. As a national coalition of tobacco and cancer control organizations, NTCA brings together various civil society groups, NGOs, CBOs, FBOs, and professionals who are passionate about public health, human rights, and tobacco control. With expertise in health, environmental advocacy, research, policy formulation, education, and more, our members work together to influence policy decisions on tobacco-related issues throughout Nigeria.
Our strategic priorities include supporting and monitoring the implementation of the WHO FCTC, advocating for the National Tobacco Control Act and Regulations, holding the government accountable, and rallying stakeholders to address policy gaps. We also engage in advocacy campaigns, capacity-building initiatives, and efforts to achieve a smoke-free Nigeria. By collaborating with relevant government agencies and supporting civil society, we aim to realize our vision of a tobacco-free Nigeria.
