Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium

Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium, also known as Odin Teatret, is a theatre and performing arts organisation based in Holstebro, Denmark. Its stated aim is to bring performing arts to the world and the world to Denmark, reflecting an outward-looking approach to theatre and cultural exchange. The organisation presents a varied programme of stage performances, including productions such as I Mellem Tiden, Tracing Echoes and HJEM, alongside open rehearsals and public showings. Visitors can find event information and purchase tickets through its website.

Beyond its repertoire, Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium offers workshops and develops projects, while sharing news and information about its facilities and staff. It also supports research and dissemination, with dedicated information about its mission, vision and finances. The theatre works with emerging artists: in partnership with Dansk Talentakademi, young students from dance, musical theatre and theatre programmes help select works for future seasons as co-curators. In 2025, the organisation transferred its physical archive, containing 55 years of theatre history, to the Royal Danish Library for preservation.
