About Cmumonhsrc
Common Management Unit (CMU) is dedicated to accelerating the National and Provincial response to combat AIDS, TB, and Malaria in Pakistan, with the ultimate goal of eliminating these diseases by 2030. With Pakistan being the 5th highest burden country for Tuberculosis, CMU plays a crucial role in addressing the estimated 580,000 TB cases and 27,000 Multi Drug Resistant TB cases annually. The organization also focuses on the high morbidity levels of Malaria in certain provinces, aiming to reduce the impact on communities.
CMU's three key programs align with Sustainable Development Goal 3, and have recently developed strategic plans for 2021-23 under Global Fund grants. Supported by a dedicated team of experts and specialists, CMU operates from its offices in Islamabad, striving to bring about significant improvements in healthcare outcomes and contribute to a healthier nation
