Nuami Care

Nuami Independent Living is an NDIS-registered disability support provider serving Melbourne’s south-east and surrounding inner and outer suburbs. The organisation helps people pursue greater independence, wellbeing and community connection through flexible, personalised support shaped around their goals, choices and needs. Its services include assistance with personal activities and daily tasks, shared living support, life-skills development, travel and transport, innovative community participation, and support with life-stage transitions. Nuami also works with people experiencing mental health challenges, intellectual disabilities and varied complex needs.

The team collaborates with clients and their families to develop individual care plans, approaching support with dignity, respect and sensitivity. Nuami offers guidance through the initial eligibility process and planning, then helps coordinate consistent support so clients can focus on living as independently as possible at home and in the community. The organisation emphasises each person’s strengths and potential, with a commitment to building confidence, capacity and meaningful connections.
