Barry McCann, the CEO and Founder, is a former BioInnovate Ireland Fellow specializing in obstetrics and gynecology with over 20 years of commercial and fundraising experience. Padraig Maher, the CTO, has over 25 years of industry experience with start-ups and multinationals, while Marie Therese Maher, the COO, has over 20 years of industry experience in MedTech multinationals and start-ups. NUA Surgical has achieved significant milestones, including receiving an Enterprise Ireland Commercialization Fund, participating in the Blackstone-backed accelerator 'LaunchPad Lift', and winning various awards such as the 'Best Senior Entrepreneur' at the EIT Health Alumni Needs-Led Innovation Showcase.
