Nubeena Bee Festival is an annual community event celebrating the importance of bees to the ecosystem and the role of honey in everyday life. Organised around bee-themed activities and gatherings, the festival combines education, entertainment and social occasions. While the Bee Festival is set to return in 2026, its associated Gala Bee Ball is scheduled for Saturday, 4 October 2025, under the Tasman Rotary banner.
The Gala Bee Ball offers guests a honey-inspired three-course dinner followed by dancing to the Steele Rose Band. The evening also features a bee-inspired quiz, The Great Bee Heist Mystery Game and a silent auction. Attendees are invited to dress in formal gala attire or wear a bee-themed costume. The event provides ticket information for the ball and a bus service, with further updates shared through the festival’s Facebook page. Through its festival and gala event, Nubeena Bee Festival brings people together to enjoy bee-inspired experiences while drawing attention to bees and honey.
