Núcleo Bem Nascer

Núcleo Bem Nascer (NBN) is a Brazilian obstetric care group focused on respectful, humanized childbirth. Its team of obstetricians recognizes pregnancy and birth as significant stages in human development and aims to provide safe, evidence-based perinatal care shaped around each woman’s needs, preferences, questions, and concerns. The group supports families through pregnancy and preparation for birth, including conversations with an obstetrician about a birth plan. This plan helps expectant parents express their choices for labor and delivery and is developed during pregnancy as part of prenatal care.

NBN also shares educational resources to help families understand childbirth, pregnancy, and postpartum experiences. Its website features articles, videos, birth accounts, information about preparation for labor, and stories celebrating newborns and their families. Topics include pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum wellbeing. Through consultations, educational content, and personal birth stories, Núcleo Bem Nascer encourages informed choices and greater autonomy, with the goal of making birth a safe and respectful experience for women and their families.
