Núcleo Integrado de Previsão (NIP) develops integrated systems for hydrometeorological monitoring, geoinformation, forecasting, operational management, planning, and crisis response. Its platforms bring together environmental and geographic data to support real-time monitoring and informed decisions. NIMBUS combines information from stations, radar, satellites, watersheds, and meteorological models to support monitoring and crisis response in Rio Grande do Sul.

NIMBUS-MG provides hydrometeorological monitoring for Minas Gerais through a partnership between UFLA and NIP. ATLAS displays LiDAR data for urban planning, territorial analysis, and crisis management, while the Rio Piratini system offers public, automatically updated readings of river levels and precipitation at Pedro Osório/Cerrito. NIP also operates NODUS, a permanent network of satellite-tracking telemetry stations offering GNSS services for RTK solutions, supporting activities such as agriculture, bathymetry, and aerial surveys.

Additional systems, including ATMOS and SIGMA, are in internal testing or under review. Together, these tools serve monitoring, geospatial analysis, and operational needs across the regions they cover
