Futures of Artificial Intelligence Research (FAIR) is a cutting-edge Millennium Center for interdisciplinary research and innovation exploring the cultural, social, and environmental implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Chile and Latin America. Our primary goal is to develop insightful frameworks and knowledge surrounding the development and impacts of AI technologies, steering towards various potential scenarios, from cultural imaginaries to public policy influence. Through collaborative spaces, learning environments, and experimental initiatives, we gather critical perspectives from social sciences, humanities, and computer science, broadening empirical research and theoretical reflection while fostering international and local community exchanges.
