NUDE FOODS is a Cape Town grocery chain making plastic-free, zero-waste shopping easier and more accessible for everyday consumers. Its stores offer bulk wholefoods, health foods and a broad range of eco-friendly home and body products, sold by weight and without wasteful packaging. The company describes its products as non-GMO and plastic-free, with an emphasis on high-quality, local, sustainable foods and support for local suppliers and waste-reducing initiatives.
More than a grocery store, NUDE FOODS aims to be a one-stop shop for people seeking lower-impact choices for their homes and lifestyles. Its East City store in Zonnebloem also features Café NUDE, serving African single-origin coffee, organic teas, plant-based elixirs, adaptogenic hot drinks and smoothies. The courtyard is also home to Wild Eatery, a plant-based food truck offering falafel wraps, tacos, salads and gluten-free flapjacks. Through its products and food offerings, NUDE FOODS invites customers to embrace a practical, packaging-conscious approach to everyday shopping and eating.
