Nuestros Ranchos is a genealogy group and online community for people researching family lineages in the Mexican states of Jalisco, Zacatecas, and Aguascalientes. It describes itself as a space for serious genealogists and provides information in both English and Spanish. The site supports members’ research through discussion forums, shared files and albums, contact information, links, films, and a map, alongside notices and recent community contributions.

Its forum content offers practical guidance on historical records and genealogical resources. For example, a post explains how to locate and download a searchable book of marriage records relating to the former Diocese of Guadalajara through FamilySearch, while cautioning that imperfect OCR can affect text searches. Other discussions examine family names, ancestry, and archival documents, including records from Navarra that may shed light on lineages connected to Mexico.

The site is therefore a focused resource for genealogists tracing ancestry in western and central Mexico. Visitors can browse research conversations, consult shared materials, and connect with others investigating related families and historical records.
